# RestoreResult

Describes the result returned from restoring a Layout.

## Properties

- **`instances`** (`RestoredInstance[]`, required)
  List of objects describing the app instances participating in the Layout.
- **`layout`** (`Layout`, required)
  The restored Layout.
- **`status`** (`"Success" | "Failed"`, required)
  Status of the Layout operation.
- **`trackingId`** (`string`, optional)
  ID of the restore session. Can be used for resetting the restored Layout via the `reset()` method.
  Not available if the restored Layout doesn't contain any app windows.
