Overview

The io.Connect framework and the Application Adapters enable your apps to interoperate in real time with other popular third-party apps like Excel, Outlook, Word, Bloomberg, Salesforce, Fidessa, and more. This makes it possible for end users to continue working with the apps they already know and like while adding the benefit of enabling these apps to share data and interact with your other in-house apps. The error-prone process of copying and pasting data from one app to another is no longer necessary as data synchronization between apps is achieved by a single click. Deploying and configuring the Application Adapters requires much less effort than understanding complex third-party APIs and implementing custom solutions. Instead, you are free to focus on implementing features that add business value to your processes.

Requirements

The Application Adapters require one of the io.Connect platforms - io.Connect Desktop or io.Connect Browser.

The Application Adapters require the following third-party app versions:

  • Microsoft Office - Microsoft Office 2010 or above.
  • Bloomberg - a licensed Bloomberg Terminal installed and a valid user logged in.
  • Salesforce - a Salesforce Lightning edition installed.
